Sometimes the right thing to do is obvious. This is one of those times.

Join me as we work to give Ken a kidney.

What do you get when you mix Facebook, family, and faith? For me, it’s a kidney transplant. On October 14, 2020, I donated one of my kidneys to a man I never met before. His name is Ken and he’s the father of five boys who was in desperate need. And it just so happens that I was a match. It was an incredible two-year journey to get to this point, one that took a lot of twists and turns, but one I wouldn’t trade for the world.

Why did I do it? Great question. You can read the blog post I wrote to get the full background (including the part about Facebook, family and faith).

If you want to follow along in the journey, be sure to sign up for email updates. It’s the easiest way to keep you in the loop as well as be encouraged on a regular basis.

In the end, I hope this story that’s playing out as we speak inspires you just a little bit, and shows you that good still exists and God is still working. Even, and especially, through imperfect people like me.
